Donate to Moore College’s End of Financial Year Appeal

Jesus said, ‘The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.’ (Lk 10:2). We urgently need more workers for the Lord’s harvest, whether here in Sydney, around Australia, or around the world. Moore College is helping meet this need by training up men and women to teach and share the gospel.

Will you help Moore College provide a Scripture-soaked theological education that trains gospel workers for the harvest?

Please consider giving to one or more of the following three projects during our appeal:

  • General fund (donations to this fund allow us to allocate to areas of need)
  • John Chapman House Capital Development fund (to help replace John Chapman house with modern student accommodation)
  • Scholarships Fund (providing financial support for students completing their studies)

Note that donations $2 and over are tax deductible.

You can donate to these funds via credit card by choosing one of the below options, and you can also donate via Direct Deposit or Cheque.

Hear from Dr Peter Jensen, Chair of the Moore College Foundation Board:

This gift will allow the College to allocate the funds to the most urgent funding priorities, which include Student Scholarships and the need for new student accommodation to replace John Chapman House.

While we continue to have needs for the funding, maintenance, repair and development of our varied property portfolio, our major focus for the next two years will be our Capital Campaign. We hope to raise $35 million to replace John Chapman House with modern accommodation for single and married students.

Scholarships are awarded based on the decisions of the Scholarships Committee of the Moore College Foundation. Unless specifically indicated otherwise in the terms, scholarships are awarded on the basis of financial need, merit and/or the applicant’s mission/ministry potential.

A gift to this fund will contribute to our current building projects, excluding the John Chapman House Building Development Fund. This includes accommodation and study spaces.

This fund exists to support Indigenous students to study at Moore. Moore has had very few Indigenous students in its history and our aim is to have a minimum of three Indigenous students in full-time courses on campus at all times.

This scholarship is to be awarded to students whose studies at Moore College will provide a strategic advantage to GAFCON.

The International Student Fund offers postgraduate and undergraduate scholarships for the growing need for global church leaders. The majority of international students who join us at Moore return to varied ministries in Asia, Africa, Europe and North America, primarily as preachers or missionaries.

The Student Support Fund helps to provide students with additional support, particularly for living expenses. All funds raised are pooled and distributed to the selected students based on budgeted needs in accordance with the relevant guidelines determined by the College.

The fund was founded in 2020 due to a donation from a family supportive of Moore College and university ministry. It seeks to support international students to attend Moore College who have been involved in Christian ministry (including AFES), and who are seeking further theological education to equip them for ministry and leadership.

The Overseas DBT Scholarship program provides 75% of the fees payable for each successful recipient for the 8 subjects within the Diploma of Biblical Theology. Recipients must be overseas students not resident in Australia, engaging in ministry in their home country, or preparing for a specific ministry role.

The Donald Robinson Library is an important theological resource with growing collections and services to support the work of Moore Theological College’s faculty, visiting scholars, research students, and overall student community. Amongst other key priorities, your gift will fund the purchase of new acquisitions; increases in capacity; digitisation of resources; and provision of memberships to visiting scholars, clergy and alumni.
